Luke grounds out to short…second out of the inning.

Toronto Blue Jays starter Hyun-jin Ryu didn’t allow a baserunner in the second inning.

Hyun-jin Ryu threw a scoreless second inning against the Oakland Athletics on Sunday (July 7) at Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California, USA.온라인바카라

He struck out the first batter he faced, Jordan Diaz, on a wild pitch. He was down to a 2-1 count, but worked his way back into the count with a low-60s fastball, then followed it up with a curveball to rattle the batters’ timing.

Ryu pitched a scoreless second inning.
He followed that up with a 90-mph four-seam fastball to center field that caught the other batter off guard. Diaz remained frozen at the plate.

On the next pitch, he induced a grounder to second, which was easily taken.

Against the next batter, Carlos Perez, he induced a routine grounder that rolled toward third base with a cutter for the out.

He then induced a grounder to Kevin Smith with a changeup to get the final out.

He pitched a scoreless second inning to protect the lead he’d built in the top of the first.

He conserved his energy. He threw 12 pitches in the second inning, bringing his total to 21.
