Kiwoom invites the 11th edition of the Hanwha Jeonju Baseball Commandos to pitch and bat on the 9th

The Kiwoom Heroes have invited the 11th Chubu Baseball Commandos to pitch and bat in the first game of a doubleheader against the Hanwha Eagles at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on September 9.

Ms. Park Sae-rom, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch, said, “I became an avid fan of baseball, especially the Kiwoom Heroes, through the housewife baseball commando team, and it is an honor for my family to represent them. I will continue to support the Heroes as a fan for the rest of my life.”

Ms. Jeong Sun-kyung, who took the batting position, said, “It is the most glorious year in my 43 years of life to be accepted into the housewife baseball commando team and to be able to bat like this. Thank you to Kiwoom Heroes for creating such a great program.”

The housewife baseball commando is a program for married women living in Seoul to learn and experience baseball in an easy way. Those selected for the program receive various benefits, including an AD card to access home games, free admission for family members, and the opportunity to try out and bat.

Prior to the first game of the doubleheader, 100 pre-applicants will receive a fan signing session with Kim Soo-hwan, Park Chan-hyuk, and Kim Xiang at the photo zone inside C Gate. After the second game of the doubleheader, 10 pre-selected children will participate in the “Grounds Kids Run with Nike” event on the field.
