Lee Seung-woo, K League Baseball’s August Player of the Month…’second award’ in his career

The Korea Professional Football Federation announced on the 14th that Lee Seung-woo was the winner of the “EA Sports K League Player of the Month Award” sponsored by the K League’s official video game partner Electronic Arts (EA).안전놀이터
Lee Seung-woo was selected as the K League Player of the Month for the second time in his career since June last year. Lee Seung-woo played in all the 25th and 28th rounds of the K League 1, which was subject to player evaluation in August, and scored three goals.
In particular, in the 25th round ‘Suwon Derby’ against Suwon Samsung on the 5th of last month, the team scored its second goal in the extra time of the first half to lead to a 2-0 victory. Lee Seung-woo, who played as a central midfielder in the game at the time, showed off his versatility in the midfield in addition to scoring and was also selected as the MVP in the 25th round.
In August, the Player of the Month award was evaluated in a total of four games from the 25th to 28th rounds of the K League 1. Um Ji-sung (Gwangju), Lee Seung-woo (Suwon FC), Jerso (Incheon), and Thiago (Daejeon) were nominated. As a result of the vote, “Suwon FC’s ace” Lee Seung-woo won the award with a combined score of 37.09 points, beating second-place Thiago (29.85).
The Player of the Month award will be selected first through a vote (60%) of the Professional Football Federation Technical Research Group (TSG) among the players who were selected as MOM, Best 11, and MVP in the month-long K League 1.
The K League official website fan vote (25%) and EA Sports FIFA Online 4 user vote (15%) will be held for these candidates, and the player with the highest conversion score will be awarded by adding three results.
Lee Seung-woo ranked second (18.46%) after Tiago (20%) in the first technical committee vote, and beat Tiago (29.85 points) with 37.09 points in the K League fan vote (9.10%) and FIFA Online 4 user vote (9.52%), respectively. Lee Seung-woo will be given a trophy and prize money produced by EA Sports.
